I love our industry

We are a bunch of thinkers, makers, hackers, and misfits with the occasional genius sitting quietly in the corner. If you meet someone from our industry there is more often than not an instantaneous connection. Somehow we are all trying to achieve the same thing. We all fight the same battles and often have very similar beliefs. 

And that is why the Royals have been having such great success with our new Say No to No campaign.

Say No to No is our industry’s response to the potentially harmful messages about to bombard the Australian public. Messages telling the Australian LGBTIQ community that they are lesser Australians. Messages that infer our non-heterosexual community shouldn’t be trusted. Messages that are potentially harmful and dangerous to those already struggling with our communities perception of them. 

Our industry has responded with a resounding No! We are saying No! to making these harmful messages. And that No gets louder every time someone adds their name to this list

Currently a week in we have over 1400 individuals and companies who have pledged not to work on the no campaign. We’ve been featured in The Huffington Post, Fin Review, Star Observer, The Drum and The Australian. And we have been overwhelmed by the amount of our industry reaching out and offering help to spread the Say No to No message.

So if you are reading this and you have signed up to Say No to No we would like to say thank you. Thank you for being part of an industry that after all appears to be inclusive, considerate and respectful. An industry that accepts all kinds of people.
